University of Wyoming Calendar for Feb. 20-26

These are among the activities scheduled Feb. 20-26 at the University of Wyoming.

Monday, Feb. 20, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Department of Music’s Chamber Orchestra will perform in the Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts concert hall. Free.

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1-5 p.m. -- The Center for Advising and Career Services presents the BIG Job Fair in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. Free.

Tuesday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium full-dome movie, “The Dark Matter Mystery: Exploring a Cosmic Secret.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Wednesday, Feb. 22, 1-5 p.m. -- The Center for Advising and Career Services presents the Engineering and Sciences Job Fair in the Gateway Center. Free.

Wednesday, Feb. 22, and Thursday, Feb. 23, 7 p.m. -- The Student Activities Council and the UW Outdoor Program present the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Thursday, Feb. 23, 6:30-7:30 p.m. -- The UW Art Museum will host a UW Art Department Faculty Exhibition gallery walk-through. Free.

Friday, Feb. 24, 6 p.m. -- A reception for Katy Baker and Louis Lemon, student artists, will be in the Visual Arts Building, THIS and THAT galleries. Free.

Friday, Feb. 24, 6:30 p.m. and 9 p.m. -- The 7220 Entertainment Films Committee will present a double feature beginning with “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” at 6:30 p.m. and “Doctor Strange” at 9 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Family Room. Free. 

Friday, Feb. 24, 8 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Hiding the Sun: Eclipse 2017.” A STAR Observatory Tour (weather dependent) follows at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Saturday, Feb. 25, 11 a.m. -- Planetarium show, “Journey to the Edge of the Solar System.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Advance tickets are available in the Physical Sciences Building, Room 204.

Saturday, Feb. 25, 4 p.m. -- Cowboy basketball vs. New Mexico, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Sunday, Feb. 26, 4 p.m. -- The Bangladesh Students’ Association will host Bangladesh Night. Cultural activities will take place in the College of Education auditorium, followed by an Indo-Bengali dinner in the Wyoming Union Yellowstone Ballroom.
