UW IT to Implement New Password Reset Utility

University of Wyoming faculty and staff will have access to Information Technology’s new Password Reset Utility beginning Tuesday, Feb. 21.

The new utility allows users to reset their UWyo account password -- in the event they forgot it -- without the need to contact the IT Help Desk.

Faculty and staff will be prompted to enroll in the Password Reset Utility when they log onto any WyoLogin website (WyoRecords, Email, WyoCourses, Self-Service, Peoplesoft HRMS and Financials, etc.). Users will then have the option to skip the enrollment, but the prompt will continue each time they log in until they choose to opt-out or enroll in the utility.
