UWs WyoCloud Student Reporting System to Go Live March 6

The University of Wyoming’s WyoCloud Student Reporting system will go live for UW users to access with the Student Records and Executive Overview dashboards Monday, March 6.

WyoCloud Student Reporting will provide readily available reports and information to UW faculty, staff and administrators. Through intuitive dashboards with real-time data, campus stakeholders can have direct access to data to make informed decisions about how best to use UW’s resources, and to track trends in student enrollment and retention.

WyoCloud Student Reporting does not replace daily operational reporting from the Banner student information system. Rather, it includes a large subset of data and allows users to access information that can be filtered by program and year.

Training for WyoCloud Student Reporting is required in order to access the system. The training covers basic system navigation and is completed online through WyoCourses. The course takes approximately 30 minutes and can be completed at one’s own pace. After training is completed, a user will receive an email granting him or her access to WyoCloud Student Reporting.

If employees have Banner access now, they will receive an email the week before the system goes live inviting them to participate in the online course.

The WyoCloud team wants to collaborate with campus to give users the reports they need. To do this, there will be a request form that users can send to the team with feedback on the currently available reports, suggestions for future reports and any comments they think could improve the system.

Additional Student Reporting content will be added in May. Financial Reporting will become available when the WyoCloud Finance system is released in July.
