UW Online MBA Program Makes National Rankings

For the first time in program history, the University of Wyoming’s Online MBA Program has been ranked by U.S. News & World Report.

The 2018 results were released this week, with 360 MBA programs submitting applications. Only the top three-fourths of part-time MBA programs qualified to be ranked, with UW’s program making the list at No. 89.

Factors used to determine rankings include average peer assessment scores; average scores on the Graduate Management Admission Test and Graduate Record Examination; number of years of work experience; and Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business accreditation.

UW’s part-time, 100 percent online MBA program continues to see significant increases in program inquiries from all over the world. Historically, the online cohort has included diverse groups of executives representing a variety of industries, including oil and gas, consulting, software tech, pharmaceutical, hospital administration, manufacturing and sales. An energy concentration was recently added, with additional coursework offered in energy finance, accounting and supply chain.
