Education Building (Arcon Inc., Laramie; August 2017) -- The Education Building window replacement project is ongoing. The next batch of windows to be replaced will be on the north side of the building. Construction fence has been established on the north side. Replacement of these windows is expected to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Please be cautious of crews and equipment in the area.

Engineering Education and Research Building (EERB) (Construction manager GE Johnson Construction Wyoming LLC, Casper; spring 2019) -- Underground utility work is underway, deep-under-slab rough-ins are complete, and backfill for slab-on-grade is underway. Click here to see a map showing revisions to bus routes and street closures. Please observe all construction signs.

Mick and Susie McMurry High Altitude Performance Center (Construction manager at risk GE Johnson Construction Wyoming LLC, Jackson; June 2018) -- Steel erection for the building is complete, and interior and exterior framing operations are in progress. Masonry work is complete on the east elevation and has begun on the south elevation. The north side of the football field and the sidewalk to the north of the Rochelle Athletics Center will remain the only pedestrian paths from the east to the west across the north of the stadium until late August. Gates 6 and 8 will remain closed until the exterior site work and hardscapes are complete. Access to War Memorial Fieldhouse and the Arena-Auditorium via the north end of the field can only be achieved via Gate 4 during games and events. All other pedestrian access routes are indicated by traffic control barricades and signs. Site utility work, including the installation of steam lines and chilled water lines, is in progress. This includes open excavations, staging areas and equipment in the Visual Arts parking lot and the landscape area to the west of the American Heritage Center. Please use caution when in or near these areas.

McIntyre and Orr Halls Laundry Rooms (UW Operations, Paint Shop) -- Painting of laundry rooms is underway. Painters will focus on McIntyre first. The project is expected to take about two weeks. Please be cautious of crews and equipment in the area.

Construction is expected to be finished around the end of the week of May 22 or sometime the week of May 29.

Campus Coil Cleaning (Common Cents Energy Recovery, Colorado) -- Coil cleaning will continue through the week of May 29 in different areas around campus. Coil cleaning helps improve unit efficiency and reduces maintenance. Please use caution around crews.

Beef Unit (UW Operations, Carpenter and Paint Shops, and The Plumbing Co.; June 2017) -- Work will be done to upgrade the garage to house chickens. Please use caution around work crews.

Guthrie House (UW Operations, Equipment Shop; June 2017) -- Work is ongoing to construct a new ADA ramp east of the building. Parking in the area will be closed during demolition and construction. Please use caution around equipment.

Hoyt Hall (Arcon Inc. of Laramie; July 2017) -- Downspout drainage improvements to the west side of the building will be ongoing, weather permitting. Handicapped access from the north to the main entry will be temporarily interrupted for a short period to allow installation of pipes. Construction ramps will be installed to maintain pedestrian access. Staging will be on the north and west sides of the building. Use caution around construction areas and work crews.

American Heritage Center (Arcon Inc. of Laramie; May 2017) -- Lobby floor repair stripping has begun. Please be cautious of work near the security office.

Knight Hall (UW Equipment Shop, Plumbing/Welding Shop; July 2017) -- Downspout drainage improvements to the west side of the building will be ongoing, weather permitting. The sidewalk and parking will be inaccessible for the duration of the project. Traffic between Hoyt and Knight halls will be reduced to one lane, and there will be occasional short-term closure during demolition, removal and new concrete placement delivery phases. Use caution around construction areas and work crews.

Visual Arts Building (UW Operations; July 2017) -- Ductwork in the mechanical chase and room will be removed. Outside air louvers and the interior corridor air path will be reconfigured to reduce energy consumption, overcome air infiltration and improve occupant comfort. Staging will be on the north side of the building in the southeast corner of the parking lot. One ADA parking spot will be moved to another location. Expect noise and crew traffic in the corridors. Please use caution around the work areas.

Plant Science Insect Soils and Chemical Storage Buildings (UW Operations; June 2017) -- Rocky Mountain Power will have a power outage affecting these facilities Friday, June 2, from 7-11 a.m. The Plant Science Insect Soils Building will have backup generator power but will still have at least two brief outages.
