SBDC Webinar Looks at Getting Online Presence Established for Businesses

June 16, 2017

As the Aug. 21 Great American Eclipse approaches, Wyomingites are preparing for an unprecedented influx of visitors to the state. Small-business owners can ramp up their online presence by joining a Google webinar, titled “Eclipse Your Business Competition: Get Your Business Online,” sponsored by the Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Thursday, July 6, from 2-3 p.m.

The SBDC is a partnership among the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC focuses on educating small-business owners and potential owners on how to successfully start and operate small businesses. The SBDC’s main office is located at UW.

Is your business ready to take full advantage of this incredible opportunity for increased sales and visibility? Sarah Hamlin and Susan Jerke, SBDC regional directors, will walk small-business owners through the process of getting their businesses registered and will provide other tips to improve their online presence.

Participants can register at www.wyomingsbdc.org. Enter the code “ECLIPSE” to access the webinar at no charge. In the event small-business owners cannot listen to this webinar “live,” registered attendees will receive a link to the recording.

Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities will be made if requested at least two weeks in advance. For more information, call the SBDC at (307) 382-0947.

The Wyoming SBDC Network is a business advising group of the Wyoming SBDC, Procurement Technical Assistance Center, Market Research Center and SBIR/STTR Initiative. The network’s mission is to help Wyoming entrepreneurs succeed. Advising and most market research activities are free of charge to Wyoming residents.

The SBDC is funded, in part, through a cooperative agreement with the SBA. Additional support is provided by the Wyoming Business Council and UW.
