Frontline Connections Offers Information to Help UW Students

University of Wyoming employees who work in frontline positions around campus, or who are new to UW, are encouraged to attend upcoming Frontline Connections sessions.

These are information-sharing events for frontline professionals to receive updates about various programming, staffing, contact information and campus resources so that information that is relayed to students is consistent and accurate.

“Frontline Connections’ mission is to relay consistent and accurate information to the University of Wyoming’s highly visible, first-contact professionals, allowing them to direct students efficiently,” the Frontline Connections committee says. “This information would include various programming, staffing, contact information and campus resources available to students.”

The sessions are scheduled:

-- Wednesday, Aug. 9, from 1:15-3:30 p.m. in Room 105 of the Classroom Building.

-- Thursday, Aug. 10, from 9:15-11:30 a.m., also in Room 105 of the Classroom Building.

Both sessions will cover the same material, so employees only need to attend one event. The Aug. 10 session will be available by video conference for people at UW distance locations to view. Door prizes and snacks will be available.

Representatives of the Office of the Registrar, Admissions, the Center for Advising and Career Services, Residence Life and Dining Services, Auxiliary Services, Student Health Service, Human Resources and other departments will present brief overviews offering important information and changes that pertain to their respective units.
