Homecoming Parade Winners Announced

The Keepers of the Fire Native American student organization was named the overall winner in the University of Wyoming Homecoming parade Saturday, Oct. 28.

There were 91 entries including floats, walkers and marching bands. The Homecoming theme was “Wyoming Spirit, Wild as the West.”

Other winners in the adjudicated float categories were:

-- Most Original -- Wyoming Anthropology Association.

-- Best Use of Theme -- Sigma Nu fraternity.

-- On-Campus Walking -- Block and Bridle student organization.

-- Off-Campus Walking -- UniWyo Federal Credit Union.

-- Campus Spirit -- UW Staff Senate.

-- Off-Campus Commercial -- Toyota of Laramie.
