These are among the activities scheduled Nov. 13-19 at the University of Wyoming:

Monday, Nov. 13-Saturday, Nov. 18 -- International Education Week. Various events are planned throughout the week.

Monday, Nov. 13, noon -- The UW Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics presents Simanti Banerjee, an assistant professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She will discuss “Information Provision and Communication in a Spatial Conservation Auction -- A lab experiment” in the UW College of Business Building, Room 123. Free.

Monday, Nov. 13, 3:10 p.m. -- The UW Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished Lecturer Series presents Brandon McElroy, a UW assistant professor of sedimentology and surface processes. He will discuss “Prediction and Paleohydraulics” in the S.H. Knight Geology Building, Room 216. A reception will follow in the UW Geological Museum. Free.

Monday, Nov. 13, 5:30 p.m. -- The UW Center for Global Studies presents Anders Fogh Rasmussen, former secretary general of NATO and prime minister of Denmark. He will discuss “America’s Will to Lead: Transatlantic Relations and the Future of U.S.-European Alliance” in the UW College of Arts and Sciences auditorium. Free.

Monday, Nov. 13, 6:30 p.m. -- Cowgirl basketball vs. University of Montana, Arena-Auditorium. Ticket prices vary.

Tuesday, Nov. 14, 12:20 p.m. -- The UW Division of Kinesiology and Health’s Intellectual Community Seminar Series presents Miranda Zamora, a master’s student in the division, and Graham Barrett, a human factors design engineer at medical equipment company Medtronic. Zamora will discuss “Wildland Firefighter Hydration and Heat Illness,” and Barrett will discuss “Working in the Medical Device Industry.” Both presentations will be in the Corbett Building, Room 137. Free.

Tuesday, Nov. 14, 7 p.m. -- Planetarium show, “Seeing.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Tuesday, Nov. 14-Saturday, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 19, 2 p.m. -- The UW Department of Theatre and Dance presents “Fascism! Thursday, Nov. 16, 5 p.m. -- A rebroadcast of Simon Sinek, author and TED Talk speaker, will be in the Classroom Building, Room 310. Free.

Thursday, Nov. 16, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Department of Music’s Wind Symphony presents “Classic Creations” in the Performing Arts concert hall. Tickets cost $10 for the public; $7 for senior citizens; and $6 for students. He will discuss “‘Us’ Objects vs. ‘Them’ Objects: The Limits of Postmodern Relativity from the Ghana Postcolony” in the Anthropology Building, Room 150. Free.
