SBDC Webinar to Discuss Maximizing Workplace Efficiency

Small-business owners in Wyoming can learn how to grow their profits by increasing production and sales while simultaneously reducing downtime and inventory costs.

A Wyoming Small Business Development Center (SBDC) webinar, titled “Maximize Your Workplace Efficiency,” is scheduled Thursday, Jan. 4, from 2-3 p.m. Participants will receive tools necessary to improve their business efficiency -- whether in a retail store, on the shop floor, out in the field or in the office.

The SBDC is a partnership among the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Business Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The SBDC focuses on educating small-business owners and potential owners on how to successfully start and operate small businesses. The SBDC’s main office is located at UW.

Matt Melinkovich, of Timberline Training, will present this program. He is a certified innovation growth coach, a family business adviser and a Franklin Covey Speed of Trust facilitator. Melinkovich brings a wealth of knowledge and business experience with efficiency, innovation, leadership and trust to educate and empower businesses with the tools for success.

“The program is all about understanding lean business operating principles,” says Cindy Unger, Wyoming SBDC business adviser. “Matt Melinkovich will be the presenter, and he is very well-known as an expert in this area.”

The fee for the webinar is $15, and attendees must register at www.wyomingsbdc.org to obtain the link to the program.
