Three UW Personnel Selected to Laramies 20 Under 40 List

Three University of Wyoming employees were selected to the “20 Under 40” list that recognizes Laramie’s top young professionals.

They are Chance Price, UW Alumni Association senior project coordinator; Mary Katherine Scott, Office of Global Engagement program developer; and Steve Russell, College of Business assistant dean.

The Laramie Young Professionals and the Laramie Boomerang sponsor the second annual “20 Under 40” honors.

The two sponsors “looked for people who connect with Laramie on a deep level, going beyond professional and personal achievement,” and also sought those “committed to philanthropy, volunteerism, stewardship and a positive future for the community.”

Laramie Young Professionals hopes to engage more young professionals within Laramie, while also helping to build bridges between “exceptional individuals and organizations well-positioned to steer Laramie to a prosperous tomorrow.”

The group’s goal is to help retain, recruit and grow even more local talent and create more opportunities for people to get involved and make a lasting impact in the Laramie community.
