UW Board of Trustees Concludes Evaluation of President

The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees issued the following statement at the conclusion of its three-day meeting Friday:

“The Board of Trustees of the University of Wyoming wishes to express its thanks to those who participated in the recent presidential evaluation. The board included in the president’s contract a provision for a facilitated evaluation after 18 months, in order to provide the president with meaningful feedback.

“The board has now concluded the facilitated evaluation with a very constructive meeting with President Laurie Nichols.

“The board also found the evaluation a help to itself and, in conjunction with the president, will initiate a process to address the recommendations outlined in the evaluation.”
