Campus Construction Update for April 15

These are among the construction activities scheduled April 15-21 at the University of Wyoming:

Colder Weather Advisory (UW Operations) -- UW Operations asks building occupants to assist with ensuring buildings and facilities are safe and secure. Make sure all windows and doors are completely closed with windows latched at the end of each day, and report any doors or windows that you are unable to close and secure to the Service Desk (766-6225).

Snow Removal (UW Operations) -- Crews will remove snow as needed throughout the season. Watch for snow-removal equipment; be careful and safe during snow events. Call the Service Desk (766-6225) to report icy spots and problem areas.

Old Main (UW Operations, May 2018) -- Renovations will be ongoing in Room 113 through the week of May 14. Please be aware of painting operations and work crews in the building.

Ross Hall (UW Operations, Structural Trades) -- Construction will begin to remodel the east wing of the second floor. The area will be blocked off the week of April 16 for abatement operations. Please be cautious near the crews, and observe all posted closure notifications.

Engineering Building (UW Operations, May 2018) -- The computer lab in Engineering Rooms 6028/6021A is currently closed for expansion and remodeling. Please be cautious around crews and equipment in this area, and observe all construction signs.

Health Sciences Building (Laramie Heating and Sheet Metal, Laramie; May 2018) -- The contractor will replace two dampers and actuators in the corridor the week of April 23. There will be some noise and dust. Please observe caution around crews.

Knight Hall (UW Operations) -- Work will begin at the southwest entrance to reconstruct the flower planters and repair the exterior foyer ceiling plaster and deck area. Please be cautious around crews and equipment in this area, and observe all construction signs.

The following project is complete:

Willett Pit Pumping Station/Willett Drive (UW Operations) -- Concrete placement for the sidewalk at the Willett Pit Pumping Station is complete.
