Release Time for UW Spring Faculty and Staff Town Hall April 10

President Laurie Nichols has granted two hours of release time for University of Wyoming employees to attend the Spring Faculty and Staff Town Hall Tuesday, April 10, at 3 p.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

Members of the UW community will receive updates on the UW budget and a number of other topics during the meeting. For those unable to attend in person, it will be aired via WyoCast at https://wyocast.uwyo.edu/WyoCast/Play/c126869fe36c47e5b03d67c8585c02201d.

Nichols and other administrators will give reports, then answer questions. Faculty, staff, students and others are invited and encouraged to attend. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.

The agenda includes a legislative and budget summary; review of UW’s recent capacity study and student housing plan; reports from task forces on the UW salary policy and statewide engagement; updates from the Office of Academic Affairs on enrollment management and new degree programs; discussion of the new WyoCloud Human Capital Management System; and a presentation on the university’s marketing and branding campaign.
