University of Wyoming Calendar for May 21

Tuesday, May 22, 7 p.m. -- UW Planetarium full-dome movie, “Mayan Archaeoastronomy: Observers of the Universe.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Wednesday, May 23, 5:30 p.m. -- UW students will discuss their international research projects during the “What in the World?” program at the Albany County Public Library Centennial branch. Free.

Friday, May 25, 8 p.m. -- UW Planetarium show, “Black Holes, Supernovae and the Wacky Stellar Graveyard.” Tickets cost $3 for students and $4 for non-students, Physical Sciences Building basement. Saturday, May 26, 10 a.m. -- “The Butterfly Series: From the Collection of Jordan W. Finkelstein MD, MSc” will open at the UW Art Museum. Free.

Dinosaur skeletons, ancient mammal fossils and other exhibits are on display in the UW Geological Museum. The museum is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.

The UW Department of Botany’s Williams Conservatory is open to the public Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Free.
