UW Board of Trustees to Meet July 10-13 in Cody
The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees will hear a report on implementation of UW’s strategic plan and receive updates on a number of other matters during a meeting Tuesday through Friday, July 10-13, in Cody.
A session with legislators also is on the agenda for the board during its traditional once-a-year, off-campus meeting.
Most of the meeting will take place at the Cody Holiday Inn, with the exception of a Wednesday executive session at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. UW Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public, except for executive sessions.
Public testimony will be accepted at 10 a.m. Friday. The business meeting, in which trustees take formal action on agenda items, is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Friday.
During last year’s July meeting in Rock Springs, trustees approved the strategic plan, “Breaking Through: 2017-2022,” which established a five-year roadmap for the university. President Laurie Nichols is scheduled to report on the plan’s implementation at 9:45 a.m. Thursday, following a meeting with legislative leaders that begins at 7 a.m.
The board will hear recommendations for tuition for the 2019-2020 academic year at 10:30 a.m. Thursday. A discussion on UW’s supplemental budget request to the 2019 Legislature is scheduled Thursday afternoon.
Friday’s agenda includes an update on implementation of the university’s new student advising model at 9 a.m.
The complete agenda, along with a report that includes background information on agenda items, is available at www.uwyo.edu/trustees/2018-meeting-materials/july_10-13_2018_meeting.html.
Public sessions of the full board are streamed online at https://zoom.us/j/381140209?pwd=&status=success.
