UW President Provides Welcome at Powell Research Center Field Day July 19

University of Wyoming President Laurie Nichols will welcome attendees to the Powell Research and Extension Center field day Thursday, July 19.

Registration begins at 2 p.m. with a free meal provided. For more information and to RSVP for the meal, call (307) 754-2223 or email sfulton3@uwyo.edu.

Research includes irrigation and tillage, variety trials, soil amendments and ancient grains studies. The field tours and research poster sessions are from 2:30-4:30 p.m., with the dinner scheduled from 4:30-6 p.m.

The Powell center and others at Lingle, Laramie and Sheridan are under the direction of the Wyoming Agricultural Experiment Station in the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources at UW.
