UW’s Final ‘What in the World?’ Summer Program in Centennial Aug. 15

July 17, 2018

Jean Garrison, the University of Wyoming’s Center for Global Studies (CGS) director, will give the final “What in the World?” summer program presentation at the Albany County Public Library Centennial branch Wednesday, Aug. 15.

She will discuss “Chinese-American Relations in the Trump Era: Cooperation, Confrontation or Crisis?” at 5:30 p.m. The discussion is free and open to the public.

The sixth annual “What in the World?” summer program brings the world to Centennial, with student and faculty presentations. Two earlier sessions, moderated by Garrison, highlighted the exciting work that recent UW graduates completed for their international research projects, as well as the innovative research of UW-affiliated faculty.

“Special thanks to the Centennial Branch Library and our UW partners for making this series possible,” Garrison says.

For more information about the CGS-sponsored summer program, call Garrison at (307) 766-6119, email garrison@uwyo.edu, or visit www.uwyo.edu/globalcenter.
