Comedy Night Returns to UW Oct. 4

AJ Finney will bring his brand of entertainment during StudioWYO’s comedy night Thursday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m. at the University of Wyoming.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will be in The Gardens, located in the lower level of the Wyoming Union.

Finney will be joined by Laramie natives James Harken and Austin Lipson. Harken and Lipson are both regulars of StudioWYO’s open mic nights and were featured at StudioWYO’s first-ever comedy night.

Midwesterner Finney recently won “Best of the Midwest” for his comedy at Gilda’s LaughFest. Finney’s comedy style is described as “refreshing and his poetic stream of consciousness style makes for a colorful and unforgettable comedic experience.”

In 2015, Finney joined T.J. Miller for his “Meticulously Ridiculous” tour. Before that, Finney was featured on Fox’s “Laughs”; chosen for NBC’s “Last Comic Standing”; and was a semifinalist in Comedy Central’s “Up Next.”
