Diwali Night Activities Nov. 3 at UW

The University of Wyoming’s Indian student organization will host its annual Diwali Night cultural festival Saturday, Nov. 3.

Diwali is one of the largest and most diverse festivals celebrated in India. It is the only festival that unites every culture and religion. Everyone is invited to participate.

The free Diwali Night performance, music, dance and cultural information activities begin at 4 p.m. in the Education Building auditorium. UW President Laurie Nichols will be the guest of honor. The performance will be followed by an Indian dinner at 7 p.m. in the Wyoming Union. A Bollywood DJ performance will follow dinner.

Entry to the dinner is free but limited. A limited number of free tickets will be distributed at the Wyoming Union information desk from 4-5 p.m. Nov 1-2.
