Monday, Dec. 3, 3:10 p.m. -- The UW Department of Geology and Geophysics Distinguished
Lecturer Series presents Bob Howell, a professor in the department. Howell will discuss
“Infrared Observations of Planetary and Terrestrial Volcanism” in the S.H. Knight
Geology Building, Room 216. A reception will follow in the UW Geological Museum. Free.
Tuesday, Dec. 4, 4-6 p.m. -- UW President Laurie Nichols and her husband, Tim, will
host a holiday open house at the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center. A variety of holiday treats and activities
