UW SLCE Accepting First-Year Institute Leader Applications by April 22

The Service, Leadership and Community Engagement (SLCE) program at the University of Wyoming is seeking volunteers to serve as First-Year Institute (FYI) leaders for the fall 2019 semester.

“FYI is a student-led leadership retreat that helps first-year students find their place on campus and make their initial year as successful as possible,” says Caroline Lukens, marketing coordinator for SLCE.

FYI leaders must be either juniors or seniors who are highly successful. Student leaders plan various functions of the institute and facilitate the majority of leadership development activities.
