Search to Begin for UW Human Resources AVP as Durr Retires

A search for a new head of the Department of Human Resources will begin soon at the University of Wyoming, as Associate Vice President for Human Resources Jeanne Durr will retire this week.

Mark Bercheni, currently the associate director of classification/compensation and talent acquisition, will serve as interim AVP for Human Resources while the search takes place.

Durr, who has been at UW since 2016, is completing a 33-year career that has included work at institutions of higher education in Colorado, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

“We thank Jeanne for her service to UW and wish her the very best,” Interim Vice President for Administration Bill Mai says. “We are confident Mark will ably fill the leadership role while the search is conducted.”
