Acting President to Host UW Fall Faculty and Staff Meeting Sept. 3

University of Wyoming Acting President Neil Theobald will host the 2019 Fall Faculty and Staff Meeting Tuesday, Sept. 3, in the Event Center of the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center.

The function will start with a 30-minute coffee social at 8:30 a.m., during which coffee, breakfast beverages and continental breakfast items will be available. The formal program will begin at 9 a.m. with welcoming remarks from UW Provost Kate Miller.

Newly promoted faculty members and academic professionals will be recognized, and the presidents of the Faculty Senate and Staff Senate will offer remarks.

The president has authorized two hours of release time (8-10 a.m.) for employees to attend the Fall Faculty and Staff Meeting. The scheduling of release time should be a collaborative discussion between employee and supervisor to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the unit.

Parking for the Rochelle Gateway Center is free and available in the War Memorial Stadium parking lot immediately north of the Gateway Center.
