UW Alumni Association to Host Kickoff Friday Events

Cowboy football fans are invited to start their game weekends with the University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) every Friday of a UW home football game.

Kickoff Fridays will take place at the Alumni Center in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, located at 222 S. 22nd St. The receptions will start at 4 p.m., end at 5:30 p.m. and include light appetizers and a cash bar. UWAA members will receive one complimentary drink at the cash bar.

“The UWAA staff and I look forward to welcoming our alumni and friends to the Alumni Center on Cowboy football weekends,” UWAA Executive Director Keener Fry says. “Stop by and connect with your UW friends and meet UW leaders to catch up on the latest UW happenings. We are excited about continuing this tradition for the brown and gold, which began in 2018.”

UniWyo Federal Credit Union will sponsor Kickoff Fridays Aug. 30, Sept. 13 and Oct. 25. First Interstate Bank will sponsor the Sept. 27 and Nov. 22 Kickoff Fridays.

There will not be a Kickoff Friday event Oct. 18, as Homecoming registration will take place from 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. For Homecoming information, see www.uwyo.edu/homecoming.
