UW Parking Permits for Spring Available Starting Dec. 1

University of Wyoming parking permits for the spring semester can be renewed or purchased beginning Thursday, Dec. 1.

Brown Zone permit holders who wish to renew their current permits may do so online at www.uwyo.edu/tps anytime between Dec. 1-7. Due to the reduction of parking spaces in Brown Zone 105, located north of McWhinnie Hall, permits will be resold on a first-come, first-served basis beginning Dec. 1.

Online permit purchase options are available via credit card. Payroll deduction is available to benefited employees. Cash and check payments can be accepted at the UW Transportation Services office, located at 1602 E. Spring Creek Drive in the South Express Parking Lot. 

The opening of the Ivinson Parking Garage has been delayed until during the spring semester. Opportunities to upgrade parking permits to “Gold” garage parking permits will become available once an official opening date is announced. Upgrade pricing will be determined based on the opening date.

Because of the delay of the parking garage’s opening until the spring semester, closure of the parking areas east of the Wyoming Union and the south Day Lot, a pay-by-the-hour parking lot, have been delayed as well.

Benefited employees are able to apply for personal reserved parking spaces. These spaces are prorated and cost $800 for the remainder of the academic year. Reserved space holders also must purchase and hold the appropriate zone permit for the reserved parking space location. Reserved spaces are subject to availability, and they may be prioritized and assigned based on campus needs.
