State, national and international media frequently feature the University of Wyoming and members of its community in stories. Here is a summary of some of the recent articles where UW is making the news.

South Dakota television station KOTA was among outlets that carried the Associated Press story on UW's news release about NCAA certification of the UW Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

The nonprofit Wyoming news website, the Cowboy State Free Press, carried a UW news release about the fee increase approved by the UW Board of Trustees.

Rebecca Solnit's Masters in Fine Arts Program project, The Gem City Atlas, first mentioned in a UW news release, was the focus of a feature article in the Casper Star Tribune.

New West, a news site dedicated to the culture, environment and lifestyle of the Rocky Mountain West, quoted UW student Luke Lenski and Jim Wangberg, associate dean of the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources, in an in-depth feature on changing land uses in the West.

The Billings Gazette was among news outlets that ran an Associated Press story taken from UW's news release announcing the two new members of the UW Board of Trustees.

The medical and health news site, NewsRX, carried diet and nutrition research findings published by Matthew D. McEchron, who heads the Division of Medical Education in UW's College of Health Sciences.
