Many people assume that ACRES members are strictly "ag kids", but our backgrounds are as diverse as it gets! There must be something about playing in the dirt that brings everyone together, and that diversity has helped make ACRES a success.

ACRES Officers 2012

	Perry Baptista AmeriCorps Representative and President pbaptist@uwyo.edu Perry is majoring in Agricultural Business and minoring in Music and Economics during her time as an undergraduate at the University of Wyoming. Her interest in agriculture started while planting and caring for a vegetable garden during high school. ACRES was the perfect place for Perry to continue gardening, learn more about where our food comes from, and gain hands-on farming experience while at the University of Wyoming. She has no immediate career plans, but hopes to someday work on a small, organic farm of her very own.
