Donnini Named School Counselor of the Year

Mike Donnini, counselor with the Natrona County School District, recently was named the Richard R. Means Elementary/Middle School Counselor of the Year for the state of Wyoming.

The award is offered through the Wyoming Counseling Association (WCA) and will be presented to Donnini during the WCA Fall Conference on October 9 starting at 11:30 a.m. in the American Room at the Parkway Plaza.

Donnini was nominated by fellow school counselor and president of the WCA Rebecca Gurtler.

Donnini is proud to have received this recognition and loves his job.

"Our students allow me to be part of their lives to share in the good times and offer help when times are tough," Donnini wrote. "I get compensated with hugs and smiles; that makes it difficult to forget how fortunate I am."
