Teacher wins Presidential Award

Amy Radden, a fifth-grade teacher at Evansville Elementary, was recently named by President Barack Obama as a winner of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science. Radden joins more than 100 other teachers who will receive Presidential Awards for Excellence this fall.

Winners of the award for excellence in math and science are selected at the state level and then the national level. Radden was the only Wyoming teacher selected for the national award.
