Welcome from the Director

On behalf of all of the faculty and staff at UW/CC, I want to share with you the exciting opportunities that UW/CC has to offer. I am pleased that you are interested in the programs that we have. We are proud of the work we do at UW/CC, and we invite you onto the Casper College campus to see why. UW/CC has award-winning faculty who teach in small classes. At UW/CC you are a name, not a number. Our students are participants in seminars, not passive listeners in large lecture halls. UW/CC provides a small campus feel while you pursue a university degree. We provide a broad selection of degree programs.
 
We realize that many of our students are parents, employed, and otherwise have hectic lives, so we schedule our courses to accommodate that, with many courses in the evening or on weekends. We also offer a variety of delivery formats, supplementing traditional classroom instruction with compressed video and online courses.

UW/CC offers degree programs in elementary education and secondary science education. Our faculty in those programs have won several awards and receive a lot of praise from their students. We also have a relatively new degree program in technical education. Casper is the only place in the state of Wyoming where a student can pursue this university degree. We also offer degree programs with award-winning faculty in biology, communication, criminal justice, family and consumer sciences, humanities and fine arts, journalism, mathematics and science, psychology, and social science. We also have a degree program in social work. Having this university degree opens tremendous career opportunities, given the high demand for social workers in today's society.

The staff at UW/CC is full of bright and talented individuals who are eager to help you negotiate the complexities of higher education. From admissions to advising and financial aid, our ‘one stop shop' in AD 163 has it all. I am extremely fortunate to be able to work with an outstanding faculty and staff every day. It is my hope that you will come in and talk to us about the broad range of higher educational opportunities we can offer.
