Tuition, Fees, and Refunds

Tuition

All outreach students receive tuition at a resident rate. An additional delivery fee is assessed on a per credit hour basis. The delivery/technology fees are nonrefundable (see tuition chart). The University of Wyoming trustees and administrators reserve the right to change tuition and fees at any time.

The technology fee is included in all fees. Fees are only refundable through the drop/add period. Online fees are nonrefundable after the drop/add period. The online delivery fee is $40 per credit hour with a $50 minimum per course.

Tuition is charged according to the type of credit desired by a student—undergraduate or graduate credit. Undergraduate credit will appear on a student's undergraduate transcript. Graduate credit will appear on a student's graduate transcript. Entrepreneurial programs are charged differential tuition rates. Tuition waivers do not contain delivery or online fees.

Refund Policies

Student course refunds are based on the percent of the class remaining at the time of official withdrawal. If the student drops prior to the beginning of the course, a full refund is issued. The percentage used to determine the amount of tuition to be refunded is based on the number of remaining class hours as noted in the course schedule.

Note: Students who formally withdraw prior to the second scheduled class meeting will receive a full refund of tuition and fees. Online fees are non-refundable after drop/add
