New State 4-H Club Changes

  • All 4-H clubs must be comprised of at least five members from two different families.
  • All 4-H clubs are required to complete a secretary's book each year and submit to the Extension Office a copy of all meeting minutes that include financial notations concerning money spent
  • If any clubs are doing fundraisers or have cash flow, they are required to submit a treasurer�s book to account for how the money was spent.
  • A yearly inventory list will need to be submitted to the Extension Office by each club leader.
  • All 4-H Clubs that have a checking or savings account must contact the Extension Office to get an EIN number.
  • All 4-H Clubs must submit a 4-H Club Charter form to the Extension Office each year (Starting October 1 through November). New Clubs will submit the Charter form as they are organized. The form will be included in the folder each leader is given yearly.
  • All 4-H Clubs will have a yearly evaluation. This evaluation is to help the clubs function properly which help 4-H members gain the full potential of the program.
  • 4-H members must complete the State 4-H Record Book Portfolio that is available online to receive the silver/gold achievement level.

Project Meeting Requirement

Wyoming State 4-H Guidelines: All members must attend five (5) meetings during the year.

Members should attend at least two (2) meetings in each of their project areas. This is to help promote the education in each project. The rest may come from community club meeting attendance.
