UWPD Seeks Help in Identifying Intruder

May 6, 2016 -- (Note: The university is providing this information pursuant to disclosure requirements of the Federal Clery Act.)

The University of Wyoming Police Department received notice of an intruder in a sorority house early this morning.  The suspect apparently gained entry through an open window, then proceeded to masturbate in a resident's room while she was in bed. 

The suspect is described as a while male, about 5-foot-7, with dark hair and a short beard, who was wearing blue jeans, a dark-colored polo shirt with the top three buttons undone, and a white baseball cap.  The suspect left the house in an unknown direction. 

People with information about this case or with information about persons matching this description are encouraged to call the UWPD. 

As a safety precaution, residents are encouraged to use safety locks on doors, do not open doors for someone you don't know, and don't open the door if a peep hole is covered and you cannot see who is there.  If there is any suspicious behavior of this nature, you are encouraged to immediately call the UWPD.
