Student Volunteer Leadership Team

A recognized student organization, the Student Volunteer Leadership Team, (SVLT) seeks to aid the UW campus and the community by providing volunteer service opportunities not only for its members, but for all students. This is where the volunteering starts at the University of Wyoming, and anyone looking for great leadership experience and volunteer planning are welcome to attend. SVLT holds weekly meetings the CVS office.

           SVLT ANNUAL EVENT: KANS of KINDNESS!

 Kans of Kindness is sponsored by the Student Volunteer Leadership Team (SVLT). Go SVLT!  The goal is to rally students to donate Kanned goods for the upcoming holiday season.  Kans of Kindness is a fun-spirited competition of who can donate the most.  Dorms compete against other dorms.  RSOs compete against other RSOs. Fraternities and Sororities compete against other Fraternities and Sororities.  Each competing team is designated a spot in the Union to display and arrange their cans.  Teams can win not only by how much they donate but also by how awesome their Kan arrangement looks!  That's right, I said prizes!  SVLT has received donations from the Laramie Community for Kans of Kindness winners.  Kanned goods will be donated to Interfaith Good Samaritan and Community Holidays. Community Holidays helps feed about 1500 Albany County residents through the holidays.
