The Center for Volunteer Service's Campus Corps was founded in 2005 to foster civic engagement on the University of Wyoming campus.AmeriCorps members engage others in community service by serving as liasons between the campus and the community. Members partner with community agencies to generate real solutions to identified needs.In turn they practice valuable citizenship and civic engagement skills. Members then participate in structured reflection to further their understanding of what it means to be a "responsible citizen." Check out our Campus Corps(stipend)and Citizenship pages.
Campus Corps members receive a modest living allowance while they serve and an education scholarship upon completing their term of service. The education award can be used for any education related expenses including tuition/fees at an accredited university and student loan repayment.
Service for Scholarship members focus on meeting community needs while addressing academic goals. While they do not recieve a living stipend, these members do receive education scholarship upon completion of their service. If you are a student who is completing internship or practicum work as required of your studies, you may qualify for this program.For more information, check out our Scholarship for Service page.

Campuses across Wyoming have Connecting Campus and Community AmeriCorps members. Our Campus Coordinator's page is for you to help build the program at your campus. Currently participating campuses are Teton Science Schools, Laramie County Community College, National Outdoor Leadership School, Northwest College and Casper College.
