Hello to Terry Moss and UW’s Homecoming

Last spring, Terry Moss stepped into the role of University of Wyoming Alumni Association (UWAA) board president. For seven years, Terry has been a part of the UWAA board, and he has worked toward the role of president to reconnect with more alumni.

“We all know that Wyoming is a small town with long streets, connecting those who lived here and loved our great state,” says Moss. “As an alum, you find that UW’s streets extend far beyond physical borders into the connection we all have as Pokes.”

Moss will use his background in organizational leadership along with his experience from serving as the chief operating officer of Ivinson Memorial Hospital to keep the board energized and focused regarding its service to UW alumni. The board will continue to strengthen the UWAA during a time of transition and change.

“The UWAA board and I are blessed to represent our awesome alumni. Our alumni impact the world in such positive ways,” he says. “As always, over the next two years we will continue to ride for the brand and work hard as a team in connecting and building upon work that the previous boards and alumni team have accomplished.”

With Homecoming on the horizon, Moss wants to draw attention to the impact of alumni remaining engaged with their alma mater. Moss hopes alumni feel motivated to visit the campus during Homecoming to celebrate Poke pride and to enjoy Laramie’s fall weather.

“I encourage all alums to attend Homecoming!” Moss says. “There is something for everyone in the family to enjoy. I have many great Homecoming memories, all stemming from the outstanding relationships that have been built with my UW family and friends.”

The UWAA’s mission is to build pride, loyalty and future sustainment among the UW community through communication, involvement, engagement and celebration. Thank you for being there beside us! For more information or to become a member of the UWAA, visit
