This upper division class is taught by Dr. Todd Cornish and guest lecturers. The focus is on the mechanisms whereby disease occurs in wildlife species, particularly those endemic to the Rocky Mountain area. The course covers epizootiology, disease effects on population dynamics, and infectious and non-infectious diseases. Dr. Cornish is a board-certified veterinary pathologist with a strong interest in wildlife disease investigation and control.
