Research Interests:

One of my research interests is to elucidate and characterize the factors associated with prion propagation in cultured ovine microglia cells.

I am also interested in the diagnostic investigation of infectious diseases affecting wildlife.  Specific diseases of interest include paranasal tumors in Bighorn sheep and adenoviral hemorrhagic disease in cervids.  Moreover, as a veterinary pathologist, my diagnostic interests include dermatopathology, diagnostic cytology, neoplasia in all veterinary species, and pathology of exotic pets and zoo species.
