Anchor tags allow you do jump to a specified area of a page.  To do this in the CMS, follow these steps:

Please note that you may need to place the anchor slightly above the section you want to anchor to in order to have the anchored section not appear behind the header.

  • Place your cursor where you would like to set up the anchor
  • Click on the Ribbon icon(next to the chain links) in the WYSIWYG editor and enter the name of your anchor

  • Now, to link to the anchor, highlight the text that when clicked will take you to the previously placed anchor within the page.
  • Click on the chain link and within the Anchor text box, type in the name of the anchor and then click ok.

Adding the code manually with the HTML editor:

  • Alternatively, you can wrap a span tag around the word/element and add the class manually. This would be done in the HTML editor portion (Source code) of the WYSIWYG

<a name="para1"></a><span class "jumpAnchor>JA</span>

To link to the section above, the anchor name would be "para1" in your link.  Once the link is published it would look something like,  The hash tag is added by the system once you add your anchor text as lower case letters.
