CMS Help and Support

Anchor tags allow you do jump to a specified area of a page.  To do this in the CMS, follow these steps:

  • Place your cursor where you would like to set up the anchor

  • Click on the anchor icon in the WYSIWYG editor and enter the name of your anchor

  • In the WYSIWYG editor, click to the right of the anchor icon and add a word. In this example, I’ve used the word “JumpLink”. Then highlight the whole word

  • Once the word/element is highlighted, select the “jumpAnchor” class from the “Styles” drop down.

  • When you select the “jumpAnchor” class, the code for this hides the word, but allows the jump link to work properly and not be hidden behind the header.

Adding the code manually with the HTML editor:

  • Alternatively, you can wrap a span tag around the word/element and add the class manually. This would be done in the HTML editor portion of the WYSIWYG
