Below is a list of some exemption categories. Some of these categories are related to what the current CMS templates are designed to do and some may be limitations of the webservers. As the functionality expands and capabilities are increased the limits listed below will be modified.
The website resides behind a username and password login and is not viewable by the general public. The website should not provide public or student centric content and should be used for internal processes.
The website requires a connection to a database to display dynamic content.
The website uses forms to collect information that is saved or distributed in a method other than email (Database, excel sheet, etc).
The website requires dynamic Blogging capabilities:
Ability to schedule Blog publications
Ability to automatically archive Blog content
Ability to issue notifications that new Blog content is published (Email, RSS Feed, Social Media Feeds, etc.).
The website is hosted and maintained by a third-party vendor to provide a specific service and the contract has been reviewed and approved by the University.
The website is currently hosted on an off-site server and is maintained by someone not employed by the University of Wyoming.
The website is a collaborative effort involving multiple entities that are not all associated with the University of Wyoming.
