How to Reconcile Drafts

Updated a draft and it won’t publish out? Below is step-by-step instructions to reconcile drafts within the CMS to ensure easy publishing for your site.

In order to view drafts, you must click the Home icon tab, located in the upper left of the page:

After you click into the Home tab, you will see you dashboard, locate the 'My Content' section, then select the Drafts tab and then 'view all drafts':

To see your drafts, select the Drafts tab and any drafts that you currently have will be listed:

Select the draft that you want to reconcile, and the following message will appear:

Submit or discard drafts in CMS

If all of the changes you are wanting to make are updated in the current view (main content), you may discard the draft.

***OR***

If you would like to use your draft to replace the original asset, you can submit the draft and it will replace the original asset

  • Make sure you are editing the original asset *Please note, you can work within a draft, but just make sure that all changes have been updated in the original asset and when you go to publish, discard the draft.
  • When you go to publish, if you have any drafts, and you have already updated the original asset, you may get an overwrite message, click Submit if all of your changes are updated to the original and you will be able to publish out.
