Facilities are needed to support faculty and students for the Wind Energy Research Center. In addition, upgraded laboratory facilities for integrated testing and measurements and a wind tunnel laboratory with capabilities relevant to the wind energy industry would provide important resources for the program. Administrative staff and additional faculty in the areas that complement and strengthen the Center's capabilities would provide the skills and knowledge needed for the Center.
Program funding support is needed at the community college, bachelors, masters and doctoral degree levels. Outreach support is needed to work collaboratively with others to provide continued support for the wind energy industry.
