  3. Articulating faculty and student research programs in the humanities;
  4. Finding and cultivating friends of WIHR inside and outside the University of Wyoming by fostering relationships to form and mobilize an internal advisory committee and maintain an external advisory board.
  5. Facilitating collaboration across UW, constituting WIHR as the nexus for an interdisciplinary, boundary-breaking, intellectual community;
  6. Building UW’s international participation and reputation through the humanities, through both scholarship and public engagement; and
  7. Develop state engagement through UW humanities, including partnering with local and regional NGOs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Commitment to and understanding of humanities in a broad context;
  • Demonstrated capacity to forge connections across disciplinary and college lines; and
