Sweetwater County School District #1 Head Start is a program that cares both about parents and their children. Benefits of enrolling in a Head Start Program Include:

Free preschool program for children ages 3-5 Health, education, disability and family services Transportation to and from school as needed Two nutritious meals a day Workshops, training and skill development for parents Volunteer opportunities.

A child is eligible for the SCSD #1 Head Start Program if:

The child is age 3 or 4 by September 15th The family meets federal low-income guidelines The family lives in Rock Springs or Green River, or is able to transport from outlying areas.
