It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to pay for their child's eye exam and/or treatment.
If parents have any concerns about payment, they are encouraged to contact the following:
- 1) The local Lions Club who conducted the screening. Lions Clubs may provide financial assistance to those families who meet their income qualifications.
- 2) Sight for Students Program. Please contact your local school nurse for information about assistance in financing an examination and/or treatment.
- 3) Medicaid. Eligible families can contact their local Medicaid agency.
- 4) Maternal and Child Health: 1-800-438-5795.
