WIND's mission is to assist individuals with developmental and other disabilities and their families by promoting and supporting full community inclusion, community membership, independence, productivity, and social participation through education, research, and community training.

WIND was delighted to host Dr. Kim Nielsen, Professor and Program Chair of Disability Studies at the University of Toledo. Dr. Nielsen presented Disability History, Disability Justice, and Future Directions and a recording of her presentation is now available.
