Assistive Technology

Assistive technology means any item, piece of equipment or product system whether acquired commercially, modified, or customized, that is used to increase, maintain or improve the functional capabilities of people with disabilities. (ATA of 1998).

Connect Wyoming: The source for human services information in Wyoming. It includes a database of over 3,400 human service programs operating in the state of Wyoming. From 1999 to the present, Pathways Plus has been the most extensive and current collection of this type of information available.

WIND Assistive Technology Resources: Initiated in October 2005, WATR is Wyoming's Assistive Technology project. WATR's aim is to increase access to and acquisition of assistive technology in the areas of education, employment, community living, and IT/telecommunications.
