Established in 1995, the NCDDR performs research, technical assistance and demonstration activities focusing on the dissemination and utilization of disability research funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).
Advocating Change Together (ACT) is a grassroots disability rights organization run by and for people with developmental and other disabilities. ACT's mission is to help people across disabilities to see themselves as part of a larger disability rights movement and make connections to other civil and human rights struggles.

Research-based information on effective educational practices.
A site with an extensive listing of articles on disability awareness.
Disability is natural is a commercial site promoting disability awareness and the equality and inclusion of people with disabilities. Also explore the section on people first language.
The DD Council gives information on people first self-advocacy groups in Wyoming.
A listing of books relating to disability awareness and self-advocacy. A portion of the sale proceeds of the books are used to promote self advocacy activities.
The goals of Kids Together, Inc. include a desire to remove barriers that exclude people with disabilities. We support the belief that children with disabilities, like all children, have the need to be welcomed, cherished and embraced in our communities.
