The Connect Wyoming Online Calendar is a comprehensive collection of events, conferences, and meetings held throughout the state. The calendar can be browsed by month or searched by keyword. The keyword search may be in all fields, or limited to the county, title, or contact fields.

Submission Policy

Connect Wyoming will post any event that is designed to provide human service information to Wyoming citizens. Submissions will be rejected that are "for profit" in nature or do not provide information or services designed to promote the welfare of Wyomingites.

Although primarily devoted to Wyoming events, submissions will be accepted for human service events that are within a reasonable distance for Wyoming citizens to attend. For example, events that are held in locations such as Salt Lake, Utah or Denver, Colorado will be accepted if they meet the previously stated criteria.

Submit an Event

If you are hosting an event or know of a meeting or conference that you would like to have added, please be certain to send it in by using the online Submit an Event form.

If your browser does not support forms, please send an e-mail message to connect@uwyo.edu with the words "Calendar Event" in the subject line. Include in the message: event title, starting and ending dates, event description, contact person's name, e-mail address, and phone number, and a web site address if available.

Parts of an Entry

Each calendar entry has several fields, including some which are required. The required fields are the event title, the event location (county, web, statewide or outside Wyoming), the start date, the end date, and a name and phone number for the contact person on an event. You may also enter an event description, an e-mail address for the contact person, and the web site URL for the event's web page. Finally, if the event is recurring, such as the first Monday of the month meeting of a support group, please note that by indicating whether it is recurring once, weekly, or monthly, and let us know the end date, if one exists.

Calendar Updates

The Connect Wyoming calendar is updated within ten days of event submission. If you have any concern about your event being added to the calendar, please contact the Connect Wyoming Project Coordinator at 307-766-2996, or connect@uwyo.edu.

Newsletter Highlights

Each month, the events that are listed in the calendar are listed in the CW Newsletter in the Events Calendar section. Additionally, some events are highlighted in the Community Events section. This allows groups from around the state to provide more information about their event to the CW Newsletter readers. Please contact the Connect Wyoming Project Coordinator if you would like to have your event highlighted in the newsletter.
